About
Software for the people who run schools.
Sepul Labs builds software for the people who run schools: education offices, school staff, and the providers that serve them, in public and private education. We use AI where it saves staff time, and a person always checks the result. The main product today is School Network Portal, for the small network providers that connect schools to the internet.
Founder
Saifuddin Suhanda is the founder of Sepul Labs. Saifuddin proposed and built PPDK.CH, the portal used by 60 staff at a district education office in Malaysia, and is now building School Network Portal for the network providers that connect schools to the internet.
01Where things stand
What exists today.
- 01Company
- One founder. Not yet registered as a company with SSM (Companies Commission of Malaysia).
- 02Started
- Early 2026.
- 03Product
- School Network Portal, a network operations workspace for small ISPs that connect schools. Private alpha, no users yet. It holds the real network inventory of a district education office HQ and four schools, imported from their router exports.
- 04Users
- Adults only: education office staff, school staff and network engineers. We do not build products for students today.
- 05Customers and revenue
- The portal has no users or paying customers yet. A proposal with a third-party network provider is in progress. Revenue so far comes from one paid project: S-Lib Assistant, built for a school and still in progress.
- 06Business model
- Planned: a monthly fee per school site, paid by the provider, with support and updates for the length of its contract (the current programme phase runs 2026 to 2029). No prices are set yet.
- 07AI
- Planned for School Network Portal, using Claude through the Anthropic API: building each school's inventory from discovery results, spreadsheets and label photos; reviewing existing router configuration; matching staff complaints to the right device; and explaining the configuration the portal generates. Also planned: moving the AI-drafted visit report summaries in PPDK.CH from Gemini to Claude. None of this is built yet.
- 08Previous work
- PPDK.CH, the portal of the ICT unit at a district education office, used by 60 staff. It replaced AppSheet apps and Google Apps Script tools.
